Angi Dlapiu is a Venezuelan-born multimedia artist. Her studio, Artdosis, takes on murals, brand identities and wearable art, while her personal work explores art as a path to healing and self-discovery.
What she needed
Angi needed two websites that belong together but feel different: Artdosis, a busy creative studio with commercial projects, and a quiet personal space for her fine art, where the paintings could speak for themselves.
What we did
- Designed angidlapiu.com as a minimal virtual gallery, with plenty of white space and almost nothing between the visitor and the work.
- Organised the site around her collections, including Masters, Inner Child and Frequencies, so each body of work has room to breathe.
- Used gentle transitions and a restrained layout, letting colour come from the paintings rather than the website.
- Kept the two sites in step, so a visitor can move between the studio and the artist without feeling lost.
Where it is now
The portfolio sits alongside Artdosis as Angi’s personal gallery. Behind the bold murals and brand work, it shows the artist and the message behind them.
